How-To Guide to Changing Your Oil 

  1. Park Your Vehicle on a Flat/Even Surface 
  2. Put the Parking Brake On 
  3. Use a Jack/Jack Stands or Ramps to Raise the Front of Your Vehicle 
  4. Remove the Oil Fill Cap 
  5. Locate the Drain Plug 
  6. Place a Drain Pan Under the Drain Plug 
  7. Remove the Drain Plug and Drain the Oil into the Pan 
  8. Replace the Drain Plug 
  9. Locate and Remove the Oil Filter 
  10. Install the New Oil Filter 
  11. Use a Funnel to Refill Your Oil to the Right Level 
  12. Start Your Vehicle and Check for Leaks
